I got an honourable mention in the Arkham Horror costume competition (though I did seem to lost out to a 12 year old who isn't old enough to be playing a cthulhu game in my opinion). Here's the link....and roll on next Halloween!

I am concerned. We have just purchased a copy of Warhammer Online.

Many members of my family are now obsessed with WoW, chalking up at least 2 hours a day. I said we would never get involved with that sort of thing since we are old fashioned tabletop gamers and look down upon online gamers (they are a recent addition to the hierarchy, before we just used to look down upon larpers and magic players).

Then they brought out a game involving the Warhammer universe and all bets are off. People we know are playing it rather than eating or, shock horror, texting! Can it be that good? How can it compare to dice and character sheets? I thought it was a sell out playing the new d&d with miniatures, but this is even worse.

All I know is... I want to play a dark elf. I'll let you know how I get on, if I get a moment...

Its like playing the game you love and getting to play against other people. Actually it just gives you a great excuse to spend all your time on a board game, and they tell you which monsters you are up against etc. so you don't have to spend ages choosing one. We are only two investigators but we are Team S.A.N.E (Scottish Agency for the Neutralisation of Entities).

Great fun.
